It’s after June 30th and I need to change my RSVP, how do I do that?

Please email or text either of us with the changes so that we can update the final numbers.

I’m not sure yet if I’ll be able to attend, should I book a hotel anyway?

Yes! Many hotels (including the ones we listed) are getting filled up quickly, but have flexible refund/cancellation policies. It might be better to reserve some accommodation even if there’s a small chance you may not make it instead of waiting until you’re sure.

What about gifts?

Your presence is the greatest gift (yes yes, we know it’s cheesy, but it’s still true!). We’re excited you’re coming all the way to Italy to celebrate with us and your well wishes and presence are all we need. Please, do not bring any physical gifts because we do not have enough luggage space to take them back 🙂

If this is on your conscience and causing you sleepless nights, please keep in mind we’d have to lug everything with us – and it’s a long way back to California!

When will we know the final location for Friday’s and Saturday’s events? Can I drive to Saturday’s event?

We’re scouting venues and finalizing a couple of details in July, so check back on the website by the end of July.

What do these dress codes on the “Events” page actually mean?

The dress codes are just a suggestion. In general, we want you to dress for the weather and be comfortable. Use it as a guideline, but don’t worry too much – we know you all will look great!

Can I wear Indian clothes even if I’m not Indian?

Yes! Everyone is welcome to wear Indian outfits on any of the days, but especially Saturday for the Indian ceremony and celebration. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing Indian clothes, that’s okay too. Color is always encouraged at Indian weddings!

What does “traditional Indian attire” mean?

India has different cultural traditions and outfits depending on which part of the country you are from, so there are many options to choose from.

Women typically wear a sari, lehenga, or salwar kameez:

Men typically wear a kurta (a shirt that reaches about knee-length, with pants underneath) or a sherwani (more elaborate and heavier material than a kurta) to wedding events. Kurtas and sherwanis might include a dupatta (scarf/shawl) as well.

If you have any questions about Indian attire, feel free to ask us!
